I’ve written a number of versions of the Raindrop Girl, some of which have been published in various magazines. Recently I decided that the premise of a girl who talks to the rain was special enough to attempt a full novel. I’m pleased to announce that The Raindrop Girl was accepted by my editor at My Weekly Pocket Novels and will be published, hopefully this year. Below is p1 of the short story published by That’s Life Australia. Hate the name Wanda that they used but what the hell. Once they’ve bought it I have little say.
