Still for sale in British newsagents and supermarkets, my bushranger adventure is one of those novels that came out of nowhere when i wondered what to write next. I’d vowed never to write a Western and yet I did … accidentally. This one. Okay, it’s set in Western NSW rather than the Wild West of the Americas. Also it happened long before the country of Australia existed but it does have more than its share of villains and heroes with a pretty but feisty teacher. I loved doing the research and setting my tale in a slightly alternate reality. There’s a special appearance by an famous person from those lawless days too but I’m not going to say who it is. You’ll have to read the novel. Also there’s a digital version on Readly for those who prefer a computer screen to a paperback.
