I’ve just joined the RWA (basically as I’m a dinky-di Aussie and a lot of my books and short stories are Australian themed).
I’ve volunteered as a mentor. We shall see what happens there.
One thing that I should point out is that My Weekly books are released roughly 10 weeks in the UK than Australia. This is due to transport delays.
Consequently, even though issue 2007 Green Skies at Night can be found in some newsagents in Sept. in Australia (or ordered from them through Gordon & Gotch), Moonlight Rising issue 2013 is out 17/9 in the UK.
